Hedin Parts
Hedin Mobility Group

The brief

In 2023, Hedin Mobility Group obtained Orio and Saab Original Parts from the Swedish Government. The purpose of their new websites was to meet the needs of the automotive industry – spare parts for workshops and retailers and logistic solutions for car importers and distributors. The goal for the company was to offer the "whole affair" to both sides.

My role

Since the company was fairly new, Camilla and I needed to first concretize the company values, and then I started to design the website based on our research.

Conclusion:

This structured approach ensures the website meets essential business needs while providing a roadmap for future enhancements.

Target audiences

Workshops:

Automotive repair shops and service centers that require spare parts and components for vehicle maintenance and repairs. These businesses will benefit from a reliable source of Saab Original Parts and other automotive components.

Retailers:

Businesses that sell automotive parts and accessories directly to consumers. Retailers will need a streamlined process for ordering and stocking parts to meet their customers' demands.

Car Importers:

Companies involved in importing cars and requiring logistic solutions for handling and distributing vehicles. These businesses will look for efficient logistics services to manage their inventory and supply chain needs.

Distributors:

Entities that distribute automotive parts to various retailers and workshops. Distributors need access to a wide range of parts and an efficient ordering and delivery system.

Stakeholders

Individuals, and organizations interested in the latest news, updates, and press releases related to Hedin Parts, Orio, and Saab Original Parts.

Design

When designing the Hedin Parts website, it’s crucial to create a user-friendly and visually appealing interface that meets the needs of the target audiences. Here is how we did it. We started with a grey design and the limits we had was that we had to use components we already had in our library.
